John Watson


Mr. Watson has over 30 years experience in the mineral resource industry. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Watson was the President of Pan-Nevada Gold Corporation which, prior to the completion of its plan of arrangement with Midway Gold Corp. effective April 13, 2007, was a TSX Venture Exchange listed company focused on the acquisition, exploration and expansion of advanced stage gold projects in Nevada. From 1979 to 1993, Mr. Watson was the President and CEO of Horizon Gold Corporation, which was listed on NASDAQ from 1986 to 1993. Horizon Gold Corporation built and operated two open pit, heap leach mines in Nevada during the period from 1985 to 1992. Currently, Mr. Watson is a director of Prospero Silver Corp. which is a TSX-V listed company operating in Mexico. Mr. Watson holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of Texas and an M.Sc. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.

Peter A. Ball

President & CEO, Director

Mr. Ball brings over 30 years of experience as a mining professional at all levels of leadership. Throughout Mr. Ball’s career, he has held various senior management roles with international precious metals mining companies in corporate finance, securities trading, mine engineering, business development, corporate communications, public relations and marketing functions throughout North and South America, Asia, and Europe. Mr. Ball began his career in the late 1980s working as a mining engineer, a technical representative, and in various management and senior executive roles for numerous companies including Redstar Gold, Columbus Gold, Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting, Echo Bay Mines Ltd., RBC Dominion Securities, Eldorado Gold Corp. Mr. Ball is a graduate of the Haileybury School of Mines, Georgian Business College, UBC’s Canadian Securities Course, is a member of CIMM and currently Director of Searchlight Resources Inc. and Bullion Gold Resources Corp.

Dr. Quinton Hennigh


Dr. Hennigh is currently Chairman and formerly CEO of Novo Resources Corp. (NVO: TSXV) which is a Canadian corporation actively exploring for gold in Western Australia. Prior to founding Novo, Dr. Hennigh was the President of Exploration and Chief Geologist of Evolving Gold Corporation. Dr Hennigh is credited with the discovery of the Rattlesnake Hills deposit, Natrona County, Wyoming, USA. From May 2007 to March 2008, Dr. Hennigh was the Vice-President of Exploration for Evolving Gold Corp. From May 2004 to March 2007, Mr. Hennigh served as Senior Research Geologist with Newmont Mining Corporation. Dr. Hennigh has worked throughout North America, in Europe, Australia, Asia and South America with several mining companies and has spent years developing regional concepts for the exploration for buried gold deposits, particularly in Nevada. Mr. Hennigh holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri and an MSc. and Ph.D from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a member of the Society of Economic Geology and of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America.

Dr. Odin Christensen


Dr. Christensen is a geologist with over 35 years of experience in the mineral exploration and mining industry. Since 2003, Dr. Christensen has been a consulting minerals exploration geologist with Hardrock Mineral Exploration Incorporated of Colorado. He was previously with Newmont Mining Corporation for 21 years. From 1985-1989, Dr. Christensen served as Exploration Manager for Newmont Exploration Limited and Carlin Gold Mining Corporation in northeastern Nevada with responsibility for exploration and mine geology on the Carlin trend. From 1989 to 1991, Christensen was Vice President of Exploration for Newmont Gold Company. From 1991 to 2000, Dr. Christensen was appointed Chief Geologist for Newmont Mining Corporation, with responsibility for technical oversight of Newmont’s worldwide exploration and mine geology programs. Dr. Christensen has worked in 26 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America. Dr. Christensen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the University of Minnesota and a PhD in Geology from Stanford University.

Alfred “Alf” Stewart


Alfred (Alf) Stewart, B.SC. Geology, MBA, has a career spanning over 40 years in the resource and investment industries. Mr. Stewart’s career includes time spent as a geologist, stock exchange regulator, investment banker, analyst and investment advisor. Mr. Stewart has worked for such firms as Bank of Montreal, Esso Minerals, Erickson Gold Mining, Canaccord Capital, Haywood Securities, Golden Capital, and Raymond James. He has been involved in financing mining companies for over two decades, including discoveries in the base and precious metals sectors. Mr. Stewart is also a Director of Searchlight Resources Inc.

Ron Schmitz


Mr. Schmitz is the Principal and President of ASI Accounting Services Inc., which has provided administrative, accounting and office services to public and private companies since July 1995. Mr. Schmitz has served as a Director and/or Chief Financial Officer of various public companies since 1997, and currently holds these positions with various public and private companies.

C. Bruce Scott

Corporate Counsel and General Counsel

Mr. Scott has practiced law in the areas of corporate finance and securities, corporate and mining since 1993 and is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to Seabridge Gold since 1999. In private practice, Mr. Scott has worked predominantly for publicly listed mineral resource companies in the exploration and development stages and has worked on prospectus offerings and private placement financings and mergers and numerous property purchase, property option and joint venture transactions. Mr. Scott was a partner at DuMoulin Black LLP from 1998 – 2011 and, before joining DuMoulin Black LLP, worked in a large full-service Vancouver-based firm that is now part of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Mr. Scott served as a member of the British Columbia Securities Commission Securities Law Advisory Committee from 2004-2007. Mr. Scott received his LL.B. from the University of Toronto and a B.A. (hons) in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.

James Maxwell

Technical Advisor - British Columbia

Mr. Maxwell, P. Geo is a professional geoscientist with over 20 years of experience, with a direct strength in the exploration and development of orogenic gold discoveries. He has made considerable contributions to the discovery teams in Nunavut and Ontario for a total of 5 major gold discoveries, including many of the deposits comprising the Back River Gold Project. Mr. Maxwell is the Director of Exploration at Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. where he has helped grow a >5 Million Oz gold resource. He is a co-award winner of the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association Discovery of the Year Award, a long standing member of the PDAC Health & Safety Committee, and was a recent speaker for the 2019 Newgen Gold Conference held in Perth, Australia.

Max Keogh

Project Manager - British Columbia

Mr. Keogh, P. Geo is Qualified Person (“QP”) with close to 15 years of hands on technical experience managing and advancing mineral discoveries and advanced projects. Mr. Keogh has worked with major mining companies such as Xstrata and Glencore, assisting at all levels of exploration across Canada, and brings extensive experience in managing diamond drilling projects, and implementing all aspects of technical field operations, to accelerate the advancement of gold and copper mineral exploration and mining projects. Mr. Keogh is a registered Professional Geologist in the Province of British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec, Canada.
